- The Country Cafe. This small family-owned business is run by 2 sisters that were raised in the area! They employ 20 great people who love our customers as much as they do, and they have a wonderful menu that offers all kinds of comfort food. Be sure to stop in and check out what they are all about when you need a bite to eat!
- Gordon’s Stop Light Drive-In. This spot is a small family-owned establishment, and Gordon’s Stoplight is a local landmark. They offer smash-style burgers , and the BEST homemade chili and slaw you will ever taste. They only use the best meat and produce to ensure that every visit to see them is as great as it has always been. Nothing has changed since 1948!
- The Brick Bistro and Brew. This spot is a locally owned and family-operated bistro, pizza parlor and gathering place for friends and family. They offer a unique/interesting menu of homemade goodness from soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza along with adult beverages, ice cold beer in bottles and on draft, smoothies and the very best coffee in town supplied by St. Louis Coffee Roasters Mississippi Mud Coffee Company including Lattes, Iced Coffees, Cold Brew, Espresso, Frappucinos. They are a part of the revitalization of Historic Festus Main Street, and when you visit try to make time to take in all that Main Street offers. There are so many unique shops, wonderful restaurants, live music, etc. All of these businesses are locally owned and operated as well!
- Taytro’s. This spot is a family-owned restaurant, bar and venue. They focus on providing a family-friendly, entertaining, social environment. The cuisine is focused on Cajun Creole but they also serve American cuisine. You can find something for everyone on the menu from Gator Po Boy and Crawfish dip to burgers, chicken tenders and Ribeyes. Check it out!
- Frankie Gianino’s. This spot is named in honor of Bill Gianino’s father Frankie, who was a longtime restaurateur in St. Louis. While Frankie is no longer with us, his ideas and recipes live with the restaurant now. Some of his original menu creations have been enjoyed at Bill Gianino’s Restaurant for over 41 years. These recipes have now been passed on to Billy and Tony, Bill’s sons, from the homemade Red Sauce to Frankie’s Original Pizzas!
