Legends and Lanterns

Finding its inspiration from the past, this festival will offer the vintage charm of Halloween in the 1910s-1930s and will offer fun for guests of all ages. Legends and Lanterns will allow visitors to get in the “spirit” for All Hallow’s Eve. The festival will feature scarecrows, hayrides through history, and ghostly guests with historic Main Street as its backdrop. Check it out during the weekends!

Pumpkin Glow in Historic St. Charles

Visit Historic Main Street St. Charles on the weekend before Halloween for a spook-tacular event with deals, squeals, and pumpkins! You can take advantage of stores open late to get some scary good deals. The street will be illuminated with hundreds of eerily glowing pumpkins. And of course, be sure to visit with the Legends & Lanterns characters for chilling ghost stories and haunting encounters.

Trick or Treat on Main Street

This is one of the most fun fall events in St. Charles! Bring your costumed ghouls and goblins — age 12 years or younger — to the Main Street historic district from 3-5:00 PM. You might even have time left to check out one of the best neighborhoods in St. Louis for trick or treating afterward!

Centennial Farms Pumpkin Fantasyland

Don’t miss out! Fun fall events in St. Charles include a trip to Augusta, home of Missouri’s wineries! Check out the Centennial Farms Pumpkin Fantasyland until Oct. 30. Walk into out farmstead and be surrounded by pumpkin characters and Halloween fun. There are full size pumpkin and gourd figures representing farm folks, storybook characters and some of your favorite movie characters. There are even aliens and a crashed spaceship for some spooky fun!
